Do's and Don'ts:
Primary Uses
reduces permeability and improves waterproofing qualities in key applications such water tanks, sumps, drains, bathroom floors, basements, external plastering, and roof slabs.
Advantages:
- Modern technology: High-performance concrete produced by the new generation of molecules is suitable for all grades of concrete, even higher grades.
- Corrosion Resistant: It is the first product of its kind in the integral waterproofing line and satisfies the requirements of the amended Japanese code JIS Z1535.
- High Strength: Better cement particle dispersion aids in greater hydration, which results in high strength compared to control.
- Cohesive Mix: It makes the concrete more cohesive and easier to work with.
- Durability: Due to a decrease in permeability and an increase in steel's corrosion resistance, concrete's durability is improved.
Advantages and Features:
- Conplast WL Xtra is a cement dispersion polymer-based dark brown liquid that disperses uniformly and combines easily with water.
- It reduces the water requirement for required workability and minimises segregation and bleeding.
- It is compliant with IS:2645-2003.
- All types of cements, including pozzolanic cements, can be used with it; high alumina cement cannot.
- In comparison to the control sample, it has a permeability to water of 10% as opposed to the maximum permissible 50% per IS:2645.
- If the entire potential of water reduction is taken use of, it can even improve on strength properties while maintaining compressive strength equal to control concrete or mortar.
- It enhances workability when the water-to-cement ratio is lower.
Dosage:
Dosage: 200ml for 50kg of cement is the ideal dosage. Site trials should be carried out to establish the appropriate dosage.
Application Instructions:
- According to the mix design, add cement and aggregates to the concrete mixer. Mix in the dry state for one minute.
- 75 to 80 percent of the mixing water should be added first.
- The remaining mixing/gauging water should be mixed with Fosroc Conplast WL Xtra according to the appropriate dose before being added to the concrete mixer and mixing for an additional 2 minutes.
- If necessary, either place the concrete or use plaster.
- Use Fosroc Concure curing additives or cure the applied mortar or concrete in accordance with appropriate construction methods.
Do's and Don'ts:
- Do not add Fosroc Conplast WL Xtra straight to dry cement & aggregate mix.
- Keep water-cement ratio carefully as recommended.
- Do not exceed the dosage that is advised.
- Fosroc Conplast WL Xtra is a durable and effective integral waterproofing liquid admixture that may be used in many applications.
